Building Management, Energy Monitoring, and Smart Building solutions are the most in-demand technologies among the UK’s FM professionals for 2026, according to our exclusive research.
The findings have been revealed in the run up to this month’s FM Technology Forum, which takes place on October 23rd in London.
FM professionals registering to attend are asked which solutions they needed to invest in during 2026 and beyond.
CAFM and Workplace Management Systems rounded out the Top 5.
The top solutions have changed very slightly compared to 12 months ago, when Energy Monitoring, Smart Buildings and Computer-Aided FM Systems (CAFM) were the most in-demand technology solutions.
Sarah Beall, Managing Director, Forum Events & Media, said: “Our research shows that digital transformation within facilities management continues to accelerate, with building management, energy monitoring, and smart technologies leading the way. The data reflects how FM professionals are focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making as they plan their 2026 investments. It’s also clear that integration is key, with CAFM and workplace management systems increasingly forming the digital backbone of connected estates.
